The 2026 kit
AS WORN IN JULY 2026: for all 21 stages of this Tour (debuting in the stage-1 team time trial in Barcelona on 4 July), Movistar sets aside its regular mostly-white 2026 race kit and wears a special-edition deep-blue jersey — a Gobik design sold to fans as the 'Odyssey Movistar Team TDF 26' (the riders' race version is built on Gobik's Nexflow aero chassis) — unveiled 29 June 2026 as a tribute to Barcelona's Grand Départ, Antoni Gaudí and the Sagrada Família (2026 is the centenary of Gaudí's death). Base color: the team's familiar deep Movistar blue (rich royal/navy blue), returning after the white season kit. Over it runs a tone-on-tone geometric mosaic inspired by the Sagrada Família: crystalline facets, spire-like verticals and stained-glass-style light plays rendered in lighter, semi-translucent blues that reveal new nuances as the viewing angle and light change (Gobik co-founder Alberto García: 'We worked with light, transparencies and geometries inspired by the Sagrada Família to create a pattern that reveals new nuances as the perspective changes'); the basilica-inspired patterning sits at the center of the jersey, densest across the torso, fading toward the hems and continuing onto the shoulders and sleeves. Dead-center on the chest sits the team's signature emblem: the large white Movistar 'M' with the lowercase white 'movistar' wordmark directly beneath it — much the largest branding on the jersey. Small white 'Telefónica' lettering sits on the upper chest above the M, and kit-maker Gobik's small white wordmark appears low on the front; 2026 co-sponsor ContiOcean (on board since February 2026) is carried on the rear of the jersey only. Slim aero collar and seamless laser-cut sleeve cuffs in the same deep blue. Bib shorts: the team's regular very dark navy blue bibs (carried over from 2025, so dark they read near-black) with a white Movistar 'M' and 'movistar' wordmark on each thigh and minimal trim at the leg grippers. (The regular 2026 season kit, for reference, is a clean white Gobik 'Nexflow' jersey with technological textures, iridescent graphics and subtle transparency effects — the old blue chest stripe removed, the chest 'M' rendered in light blue — worn with deep-navy shorts; riders nicknamed it 'the cleanest kit in the peloton'. It is NOT what the team wears at this Tour.)
