The quiet climber from Fontenais in the Swiss Jura earned his maiden Tour start the hard way, outfoxing UAE's Jan Christen to win the AlUla Tour's queen stage in early 2026. Alongside Storer he has free rein to infiltrate the mountain breakaways, and the Jura-native gets to race past his home roads when the Tour crosses eastern France.
