An Olympic team pursuit champion swaps the boards for the biggest bike race on earth. The Victorian was part of Australia's world-record gold ride at Paris 2024 and brings monstrous flat-road power to the stage 1 team time trial in Barcelona, before turning lead-out man for Ackermann and bodyguard for Matthews. Sports director Mat Hayman calls his and Engelhardt's debuts 'a huge step in their careers'.

Palmarès

  • Olympic bronze, team pursuit (Tokyo 2020)
  • 2× team pursuit world champion (2017, 2019)
  • Commonwealth Games team pursuit gold (2018)
